Popular Fremont Italian Restaurants

From small and classy to fresh and fast, Fremont Italian restaurants vary in style. The following Fremont Italian restaurants include old and new favorites that offer pizza, pasta, and continental favorites that originate beyond the borders of Italy.

Massimo’s
Massimo’s was founded in 1976 by Bill Massimo Rinetti, whose family immigrated from Sicily in the early 1900s. Bill was a lifetime student of cooking, bringing traditional Italian staples, continental cuisine and a unique cooking style to the table. The restaurant continues to be family run, with hard work and dedication to quality as the backbone. Select a pasta layered in the signature Massimo sauce, or go with the likes of an all-American with a Massimo’s burger instead.

Ristorante Il Porcino
Warmth and light fill the Ristorante Il Porcino dining room, helping customers feel at home as they enjoy a traditional Italian meal or an inventive spin on a familiar favorite. The restaurant uses only natural, high-quality ingredients to create dishes such as Gnochi Florentina or Pollo Marsala. After your meal, select a sweet treat from the dessert menu, such as Spumoni, Gelato or Tiramisu, along with a glass of dessert wine. Ristorante Il Porcino now operates a second location in Los Altos.

Saki’s Spin-a-Yarn Restaurant
Named for the days when the restaurant was a 1950s gathering place for a good meal and a good story, Spin-a-Yarn has been around long enough to see participate in a city's rapid suburban development. Owner and operator Saki Kavournairis does his best to keep the restaurant’s atmosphere cozy and the service friendly. The restaurant serves Greek, Italian and continental cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Premier Pizzeria & Pastaria
Premier opened in 2005 and expanded their menu in 2010. In addition to the restaurant’s “distinctive” gourmet pizzas made with sour dough, fresh pastas, appetizers, salads and dessert complete the Italian comfort food fare. Kids’ meals include spaghetti, chicken fingers, mini pizzas or mac ‘n’ cheese, each accompanied by broccoli, fresh fruit and a beverage. The restaurant also offers a catering menu for large orders.
